Fair Share • Chore Balance Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Data collected by the developer: none.
Fair Share • Chore Balance does not collect, receive or store any personal data. The developer owns no server: no data passes through us and we have no access to it.
This policy applies to the iOS app Fair Share • Chore Balance (“Qui Fait Quoi ?” in French,
identifier com.andreaeposito.tandem), published by Andrea Esposito as an
individual developer (the “developer”). It describes where the data you enter in the
app goes, and why it never reaches us.
Where is my data stored?
On your device, and in your private iCloud account. Sync between your devices runs through CloudKit, Apple's service: the data is kept by Apple, in your iCloud, under Apple's terms and privacy policy. The developer has no access to your iCloud account.
What happens when I share my household?
Sharing between household members uses Apple's native sharing (CloudKit, CKShare). The data stays in iCloud, between the participants you invited. It does not go through any server of the developer, who never sees it.
Microphone and speech recognition
The microphone and speech recognition are used only when you start a dictation. Transcription happens on the device. The audio is neither kept nor sent to the developer. You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Notifications
Notifications are local, generated on your device. The only remote notifications are the technical sync signals sent by CloudKit (Apple's infrastructure); they carry no user content sent by the developer.
Analytics, advertising, third parties
- No analytics or audience measurement.
- No third-party SDK: the app has no external dependencies.
- No advertising tracker, no advertising identifier.
- No data sold, rented or shared with anyone.
The “Shared Household” in-app purchase
The “Shared Household” in-app purchase (€4.99, one-time) is processed entirely by Apple. The developer receives neither your payment details nor your identity.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app from your device to erase the local data. For the iCloud copy, go to iOS Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Storage, then delete the app's data. There is nothing to request from us: we hold none of your data.
Your rights
The GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification and erasure over your personal data. Since the developer holds none, you exercise these rights directly on your device and in your iCloud account, as described above. For any question, write to us; you may also contact the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Changes to this policy
Any change will be published on this page with a new update date. Should a future version of the app ever collect data, this page and the App Store listing would be updated before its release.
Contact
Write to us at contact@studio48h.com. We answer within 2 business days (Monday to Friday, Paris time), in English or French. Please mention “Fair Share” in the subject line, and your iOS version if you are reporting a problem.
